Our efforts toward ending world-wide poverty focus on funding
health, medical, educational and social programs for
the people of Ghana.
Expansion of the church was started and abandoned many years ago. Now, construction of a 5,000 square foot structure in the same location will accommodate the growing needs of the parish. The church and school grounds are a focal point for many in the local community.
Overcoming world-wide poverty is an ideal requiring the collective action of each of us, individual or organization, to focus our effort on a specific set of attainable goals. The Ghana Friendship Project’s goal — assisting the people of Ghana — is being accomplished by increasing the economic activity of their community by executing individual projects that address a specific community need. Project examples include employing local people and resources to build a school, a health care facility, a parish church or a clean water facility.
As a USA-based non-profit organization, we partner with a number of non-governmental Ghanaian entities to accomplish our mission. However, we count on the generous contributions of talent and financial support in the United States to fulfill our mission.

Since our inception, we have supported medical missions, and food sourcing, sanitation, and clean water projects, school and church renovation/construction projects, computer lab installations and regular container shipments of supplies.
Ghana is a very friendly West African country. It’s 25.9 million people are generally very helpful and welcoming. The government is relatively stable. We have worked on projects in six areas including the capital, Accra.
